QA Testing of an IoT and SaaS platform for HVAC Management

CoolAutomation has developed multiple apps: Professional App Desktop, Control App for Mobile, Control App for Desktop and Tablet, and native control apps for Android and iOS. These apps are connected to the cloud and integrated with hardware developed by CoolAutomation.

We provide QA services for these apps, including feature testing for new functionalities, cross-platform testing across multiple browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari), testing on various devices (laptops and mobile devices), regression testing, and sanity testing. ASAL services consisted of:

Manual Testing

Create and run test suites for all platform features (core, key, and new) across different apps (Professional, Control, and Mobile Control).

Device and OS Testing

Check that each app works well on various devices and operating systems (e.g., test the Professional web app on different screen sizes and browsers like Chrome and Edge, and test the Control mobile app on both iOS and Android).

Usability Testing

Compare the app with the designed user interface and ensure every new feature is simple and clear for users.
